In this project we have collaborated closely with architecture studio Entresitio, based in Madrid. We have designed several planting areas across the garden. At the entrance, two spaces emerged in both sides of the path for vehicles and pedestrians. Three olive trees were transplanted to create a Mediterranean looking prairie using a matrix of grasses, perennials, and Mediterranean shrubs. The space next to the North façade was dressed with multi-stemmed Jupiter trees wich also filtered the views from the house. Another planting area was set to serve as a visual background for the outdoor dining room and the living room inside the house. We have planted Multi-stemmed Koelreuterias to provide shade and a sensation of lushness, shade plants next to the house, and perennials grouped in blocks to stagger the blooms and enhance the depth of the views. On the opposite side of the porch, a lawn next to the pool was placed. The garden is completed with a football field, a petanque field, and a green roof.
